I will still probably read the next one (but I'll get it from the library). In the end, I liked it a lot because I felt like it addressed some major issues, and I thought that Eadlyn would end up growing throughout the series. There were a lot of elements to it that weren't there in the last two SELECTION novels. It's too bad you didn't like it! I hope your next read it better :)

Eli @ The Silver WordsAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03928847125287404681noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5973602932665851374.post-23769433348690293712016-01-11T08:21:30.212-08:002016-01-11T08:21:30.212-08:00I gave up on The Selection series a long time ago,...I gave up on The Selection series a long time ago, although every time I see a review I want to read it. Some people seem to love all the books in this series. I didn't even like the first few.

Majanka @ I Heart ReadingMajanka Verstraetehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10273526728036882552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5973602932665851374.post-62448631212165631502016-01-10T18:52:55.418-08:002016-01-10T18:52:55.418-08:00Wow. (Well, I haven't finished The Selection series yet either, so... LOL) Maybe someday I'll finish the other series and maybe, just maybe pick this one up. (Though I really don't know.)

Thanks for sharing Ardis! I don't think the country would be calling for an end to the monarchy based solely on her, unless she was a total party girl or did something wildly inappropriate. Even though I didn't care for the book, I will still read the next book. Once I start a series, I have a deep need to see it all the way through.MsArdychanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16011176764545344829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5973602932665851374.post-35551602029905043382016-01-10T18:11:39.785-08:002016-01-10T18:11:39.785-08:00Thank you. I think it is worth a read if you liked the series, but don't expect too much.MsArdychanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16011176764545344829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5973602932665851374.post-88426780194128852982016-01-10T17:24:43.720-08:002016-01-10T17:24:43.720-08:00I know a lot of people absolutely HATED this book ...I know a lot of people absolutely HATED this book and Eadlyn, but I'm on the opposite side; I loved this book. It's probably my favorite, and I think it's because I just liked Eadlyn more than America. I don't know why, but I kind of liked how she was a bit of a witch, and I liked seeing her go from hating her Selection to being really conflicted about it and who she'd choose. I'm excited to see if she actually chooses anyone in The Crown.

Erin @ The Hardcover LoverErinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08131832400840619615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5973602932665851374.post-27926506997891827502016-01-10T16:16:55.623-08:002016-01-10T16:16:55.623-08:00I haven't heard anything good about this book ...I haven't heard anything good about this book yet, really. I was excited about it until I started to see how horrible Eadlyn was. I don't know why they even bothered to extend this series, I thought the ending of The One was perfect! I'm kind of conflicted because I kind of want to know what happens, but at the same time, don't want to waste money on the book. Great review! I like the like/dislike format of reviews!RattleThePageshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00384685788016281486noreply@blogger.com
