I am combining two great blog hops: Stacking The Shelves (a Saturday feature by Team Tynga's Reviews), and Sunday Post (a Sunday feature by the Caffeinated Book Reviewer). Both of these features give people a chance to post about what books they received and also an opportunity to catch a glimpse of what others are excited about. I really enjoy seeing everyone's version of these features! All book covers are linked to Goodreads, if you want to check them out. If you enjoy my blog, please consider following me via Bloglovin, Networked Blogs, GFC, or by email subscription. If you leave a comment and tell me you are a new follower, I will follow you back!
On The Blog:
All has been quiet on my blog these past few weeks, as I am assessing how active I can be while also working on other projects. But there will be several new posts coming up. I feel really satisfied that I have almost completed all of the ARCs that I have (and their reviews!). I hate having a large backlog, so this is a big deal for me.
In "Real Life":
I continue to struggle with getting up early. Well, I should say, I DO get up early, but I really hate it! It seems that all I have time for after dinner each night is to get ready for the next day.
But, I feel really fortunate to have a job, and co-workers, that I love.
New Books:
I fell off the book buying ban wagon and purchased several new books this week. BUT, they were all really cheap at garage sales and from a thrift store (except one from Amazon). So, I actually did pretty well...

Thank you, Listening Library!
That's all for this week. Happy reading!
OOh nice! I LOVED Arcana Rising and omg I need the final book now!! The wait is killing me! Can't wait for Wildcard either! Hope you enjoy all your new reads!
ReplyDeleteMy STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I've been tearing through the Arcana Chronicles ! One more to go and I'm all caught up. The only thing I am dreading is that the author likes to throw a doozy of a cliffhanger in at the end of each book. I think the one coming out in March is the last one. So I won't have too long to wait. Have a great week.
DeleteI really want to read The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks - it sounds so good!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new books!
My STS post!
I really like the author, E. Lockhart, but I've never heard of this book before. Yay for garage sales!
DeleteOh my God, you got An Absolute Remarkable thing already? I can't wait to read that book. It is my most anticipated read of the year. Ahh, I hope you enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteMy wrap-up: https://flippingthruthepages.com/2018/09/weekly-wrap-up-1/
An Absolutely Remarkable Thing is an audio book, so I hope to rip through it pretty quick, and get a review out before it hits the shelves on September 25th. I am really curious to see if Hank can also write (I love his videos). Have a good week.
DeleteI love the books that you purchased! I need to quit buying books, but I just don't see it happening any time soon! Have a great week reading!
ReplyDeleteI tend to stay up late and rise early..coffee keeps me moving! Yay for being caught up on the ARCs. I like being ahead of the game as well. Hope this week is good one for you.
ReplyDeleteI hope things settle down soon and it gets easier to wake up. It looks like you got some good books. I’m looking forward to reading the Hank Green one. He’s my favorite YouTuber.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I've got Hope Never Dies on request at my library - how could I resist? I don't mind getting up early but on days like today, when it's rainy and dreary, I really would rather stay in bed.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a morning person either. I look forward to Friday-Sunday when I can attempt to sleep in. I say attempt because some how my daughter always wakes me up at the crack of dawn on those days.
