I am participating in Feature & Follow Friday! This is my sixth time participating in this. I really like this blog tag, because I am finding so many new blogs to follow. Getting to interact with bloggers and seeing how others have designed their blogs is one of the joys of this hobby. I will try to follow as many of the blogs on the master list as I can and hope that some of them will follow me back! This is hosted by Alison of Alison can read and Parajunkee. Go to both of their sites and check them out!
Here is an explanation from Alison Can Read:
How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools -- keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
What sets this Hop apart from others, is our Feature. Each week we will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Who is our Feature today? Find out below. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow our Features and ayou must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to Wordpress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don't have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed.
Our Feature - Katie Bookaholic Rambling Reviews
1. When did you start blogging?
I actually started blogging with my first blog for Indie Books back in February 8, 2015 than I started Kati Bookaholic Rambling Reviews on Aug 3, 2015. So I been blogging for about 8 months now. And I really have been loving and enjoying it a lot.
2. What is your favorite part of book blogging?
I really love to interact with new people on the internet who are also Bookaholics like me and I love to share with them my love in books and other bookish things as well.
I try to blog a bit of every type of books that I can because I like to branch out of my reading comfort zone. But mainly I blog about Young Adult and New Adult because that's mostly what I mainly read, but I do tend too dabble in Adult and Middle Grade books as well.
Oh Wow that is a long list but I will give you my top 5 favorite books that I absolutely love and adore. 1. The Immortal Series by Alyson Noel. 2. Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling. 3. The Shatter Me Series by by Tahereh Mafi. 4. The Drake Chronicles by Alyxandra Harvey. And of course The Newsoul Trilogy by Jodi Meadows.
To intricate with other fellow book bloggers and too also interact with authors who I love too help and support there works in any why I can.
Question of the Week: If you could have any super power, what would it be? - Suggested byJess Time to Read
If I could have any superpower, it would be having the power to heal myself and others. As I get older I am becoming more and more acquainted with how fragile our bodies are. I hate the feeling of helplessness I have when I'm sick or injured. When I had cancer, I really felt at the mercy of the doctors. They did take very good care of me and I have been cancer-free for almost four years. But the loss of control (and modesty) was so upsetting.
What would you want your superpower to be? Leave a comment below and be sure to check out all the other blogs!
OOooo Healing that is a good one. Yeah I think that is a good choice! I should change mine.
ReplyDeleteThank you Shannon! I liked your answer about Time Travel. That would be fun, too! I ama continuing follower of your blog!
DeleteHealing yourself is definitely a great superpower. I'm a nurse in real life so I can appreciate the need for that. So glad to hear you beat cancer, I'm happy I found your blog and I followed via google+
