Game Plan for October

via GIPHY

October is a month for cooler weather, pumpkin-spice lattes, and reading!  If I could, I would be on a marathon reading spree right now.  There are so many great books that either just came out or are being released in October.  But the reality is that I have other commitments such as family and a job that will keep me busy.  I had planned to read 13 books in September.   This proved to be unrealistic and I was really disappointed that I only read 10 books.  So, trying to be realistic, I will plan on reading 8 books (two per week) 10 books in October (This is too hard, I can't choose just 8!).  I really hope I blow past that number, but if I set the bar too high, I am going to start beating myself up over this.  Reading is supposed to be fun, not a race.

The books I plan to read are:

Whistling Women (ARC from Net Galley)
This Ordinary Life (ARC from the wonderful Nori SST)
The unfortunate Decisions of Dahlia Moss (ARC from Net Galley)
Six of Crows
The Sword of Summer (Mangus Chase #1)
Hidden Huntress
Crown of Midnight
A Dirty Job
Coraline
Heir of Fire

What are you planning to read this month?  Leave a comment below.  Happy Reading!

  1. Good choices! This Ordinary Life is good. (I'm participating in SST for it too.) Six of Crows, Crown of Midnight, and Heir of Fire are all really good. I get you on not being able to pick just eight. Double digits feels so much better. :)
