Stacking The Shelves #114 & Sunday Post #78

I am combining two great blog hops:  Stacking The Shelves (a Saturday feature by Team Tynga's Reviews), and Sunday Post (a Sunday feature by the Caffeinated Book Reviewer).  Both of these features give people a chance to post about what books they received and also an opportunity to catch a glimpse of what others are excited about.  I really enjoy see everyone's version of these features! If you enjoy my blog, please consider following me via Bloglovin, Networked Blogs, GFC, or by email subscription.  If you leave a comment and tell me you are a new follower, I will follow you back!

I am participating in the Amazon affiliate program, so if you click on any of the book covers it will take you to Amazon if you want to buy the book.  I will be getting a small fee for each purchase.

On The Blog:
This has been a better week for blogging with two new reviews, as well as my weekly listing of book events in the Bay Area.  I didn't do a Saturday post last week, because I was stressing out about posts.  Finally, I had the thought," Why am I stressing about this?  I can actually choose not to post!"  Duh! But I really needed to remind myself of this, in order to give myself permission.

 In "Real Life":
This week flew by! I've been trying to do a lot of reading, plus I am tutoring & being a scribe for my son in college.  It's a lot to do, but I feel like my son has a handle on his classes (what a relief).

  1. Those are totally new to me! Hope you love them both!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

  2. The library is always a great place for books *winks. I hope you are enjoying your books so far and that you are finding the time to read. It sounds like you have been pretty busy otherwise. I also combine the two weekend memes into one blog post but I admit it confuses me. Here's my STS and Sunday Post

  3. Isn't it funny how we put so much pressure on ourselves blog-wise? Hope you have a great reading week!

  4. Wow, you sound extremely busy! Tutoring and being a scribe, both of those individually is a lot. :O Hopefully you get some time to unwind. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

Have a fabulous weekend, Ardis. =)

    Check out my post!

  5. I always have to remind myself to chill out with the blog. Nobody will care if I stop posting for a while. I hope you have a great week and enjoy your new books!

Aj @ Read All The Things!

  6. Sometimes we all need a break so don't stress yourself out. So nice that you were able to assist your son and its good he's on track. Hope you enjoy your books and have a great week.

  7. I just tend to blog whenever I feel like it rather than make a schedule since I would get stressed out myself if I had to scheduled my posts. I hope you have a lovely week!
