Stacking The Shelves #54 & Sunday Post #17

I am combining two great blog hops:  Stacking The Shelves (a Saturday feature by Team Tynga's Reviews), and Sunday Post (a Sunday feature by the Caffeinated Book Reviewer).  Both of these features give people a chance to post about what books they received and also an opportunity to catch a glimpse of what others are excited about.  I really enjoy see everyone's version of these features! If you enjoy my blog, please consider following me via Bloglovin, Networked Blogs, GFC, or by email subscription.  If you leave a comment and tell me you are a new follower, I will follow you back! As always, all book cover images are linked to GoodReads so if you see a book you want to learn more about, just click away...

What I am up to:
This week was the start of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), and I started off on November 1st with gusto.  So far, I have met my writing word counts for the first four days!  But I think I may be writing the world's most boring book!  I hope I am wrong.  It is taking me up to three hours a day to get it all done, however.  I hope I can write a little faster as the days progress.

New Books:

I only got one new book this week, it is an audio book and I am loving it so far.  I am listening to it in the car and when I do housework, so it's been a fun way to get through mundane activities.

The rest of my time is devoted to writing my book, so my weekend posts may be pretty short for the next few weeks.

Have a wonderful week!

  2. Thanks, Jessica. This audio book has lots of descriptions of food. I don't know if the print version has recipes, but I would buy it if it did! I get hungry every time I read it. Have a great week.
