Happy Weekend, everyone! I've been sick most of the week, so I rested up...and read a lot of books. I still feel really pressured to hurry up and read certain books, so I am re-thinking my approach to deciding what I will read. I hope to have a better strategy in place by next month and that it will lead to less stress for me in the future. My favorite read of the week is (of course) Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas. I love this series so much! What was your favorite book of the week? Let me know in the comments.
OOh nice! Seeing a lot of the Girl from Everywhere! Hope you enjoy all the fantastic reads!
ReplyDeleteMy STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then if you can!
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Yes, I was surprised to see it on NetGalley, and even more surprised to get approved! I'm looking forward to reading it!
DeleteLol, everyone seems to be reading The Girl From Everywhere. That book is literally everywhere!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
It's being really pushed, but I think it will be great! I can't wait to read it!
DeleteGreat haul! Hope you enjoy your books.
ReplyDeleteDiane @ Diane's Book Blog

DeleteOh. Wonderful book haul. I hope you love all of your new books.
ReplyDeleteGrace @ Books of Love
Thank you. I need to read a lot faster or I will be drowning in books!
DeleteI just finished Crown of Midnight this week and it was so good! I can't wait to start Heir of Fire.
ReplyDeleteKrystianna @ Downright Dystopian
YES!!! I have Heir of Midnight, but I also need to read this book a friend gave me first. Then I WILL dive in! Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteSadly, Crown of Midnight has been the weakest for me! And I did not like The Girl From Everywhere at all. I'm in the minority though. :D I hope you enjoy all of your new books!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog! Have a fabulous weekend. :)
Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!
I'm happy you told me your honest opinion! I did enjoy Crown of Midnight, but I haven't read The Girl From Everywhere yet. Did you post a review? I would love to read your thoughts on both books.
DeleteI read TGFE last weekend and it is SOOOOOO good! I hope you love it as much as I did! Also I'm listening to Nightingale audio right now and really enjoying it!
ReplyDeleteEveryone I work with is reading The Nightingale so that is my first priority. The I will read The Girl From Everywhere. So many books, so little time!
DeleteGreat haul! I really want to read The Nightingale and The Girl From Everywhere, they sound amazing! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe they put TGFE up on NetGalley and that I actually got approved! I don't usually get the popular books!
DeleteGreat haul! I've heard nothing but amazing things about The Love that Split the World. I can't wait to dive into my copy. The Girl from Everywhere also looks really great. I'm interested to hear what you think!
ReplyDeleteAfter I read The Nightingale, TGFE will be my next read. Hopefully I will get to it on Monday or Tuesday.
DeleteI got The Love that Split the World, as well. I forgot to post that one! I love the ToG series. I cannot wait for the next one. Nice haul. Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by The Cover Contessa
ReplyDeleteThank you Brooke, you have a lovely blog! Yes, I am trying to read all the ToG books now, in readiness for the next book. I hope I make it!
DeleteWow, some great books here! The Girl From Everywhere looks amazing, I may have to request that myself! And I also have The Nightingale to read soon. Hope you enjoy them all, and thanks for visiting my blog! :)
ReplyDeleteEveryone at my work is reading The Nightingale! And since they all know how much I read, they lent me a copy. It is really good, but I am being swept away by it when I should be supervising homework! I guess that is what a good book does, right?
DeleteI have The Girl From Everywhere and am really looking forward to it. I was able to read The Love That Split the World in December and found it hard to put down. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI am deep into The Nightingale, by Kristin Hannah right now. But as soon as I finish this book The Girl Form Everywhere and The Love That Split The World will be my next books. I can't wait!
DeleteI finally added Sarah Maas to my TBR List after seeing it everywhere! I can't wait to start it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my Stacking the Shelves post :)
If you love YA Fantasy, then you are going to love SJM's books! I would start the Throne of Glass series with the prequel, The Assassin's Blade. It gives a lot of backstory that will come in handy when reading the other books. Happy Reading!
DeleteWhen I did a lot of read and reviews for authors, I ended up getting stressed by deadlines and taking on too many at the same time! I don't commit to as many now so I can read the books I bought for myself. Reading is no fun when it gets stressful! Thanks for visiting my blog this week!
ReplyDeleteYour welcome! Yes, I need to learn the art of saying, "No Thanks" to reviewing umpteen books. I am putting a lot of stress on myself because I want to have good content on my blog. But I need to balance that with remembering to read just because I want to. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteSorry to hear you were sick but glad you got to read some wonderful books :) Have a great week and happy reading!!
ReplyDeleteDanielle @ Life With Two Boys
Thanks Danielle. I am mostly better now. I'm glad I found your website!
DeleteI really enjoyed The Nightingale. Hope you love them all! Thanks for visiting.
ReplyDeleteI am loving The Nightingale! But it is very intense! I am reading, and praying silently, that none of the MCs die...
DeleteI'm really interested in checking out The Girl From Everywhere, and The Nightingale was one of my favorite books from last year. So I hope you enjoy both of them! :)
ReplyDeleteI am devouring The Nightingale! Everyone I work with is reading it too! Next up will be The Girl From Everywhere. There are so many wonderful books out right now!
DeleteI need to read the Black Widow novel! I hear it's fun.
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a fun novel. The scenes with Tony Stark are really funny! Now if they would make this into a movie, I would be super happy!
DeleteI bought Black Widow when it came out and I haven't read it yet. I really need to get on that one along with Sarah J Maas's book. so many books just not enough time to read them enjoy
ReplyDeleteI know! There are so many great books out there right now! Black Widow is a really fast book to read ( I read it in a day). The Sarah J. Maas books area also page-turners. So much is going on, you won't wan to stop reading. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteThe Girl from Everywhere always looks interesting when I see it pop-up. I hope you like it.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'm a bit surprised that I got approved for it. But I've heard a lot of positive buzz so I hope it can live up to the hype. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteNice haul. I'm slowly working through Sarah J Maas' series as well. Have a good reading week ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you. Which SJM book are you reading now? I will start Heir of Fire soon.
DeleteI really want to read The Girl From Everywhere, too, it looks really good! Alas, I have a lot of books on my shelves I should read before I continue adding all the books I want to read :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a great week!
Lexxie @ (un)Conventional Bookviews
Thank you, Lexxie. I have three books that I need to read Right Now!!! I wish I was a faster reader.
DeleteI hope you feel al better by now :) I've only read Crown of Midnight and Sarah Maas can do no wrong in my eyes!
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth. Keep reading the series. It is so much fun to read!!! If you like SJM, then you should also read her book, A Court of Thorns and Roses. It is a re-telling of the Beauty & The Best story.
DeleteNice Haul!
