I am combining two great blog hops: Stacking The Shelves (a Saturday feature by Team Tynga's Reviews), and Sunday Post (a Sunday feature by the Caffeinated Book Reviewer). Both of these features give people a chance to post about what books they received and also an opportunity to catch a glimpse of what others are excited about. I really enjoy see everyone's version of these features! If you enjoy my blog, please consider following me via Bloglovin, Networked Blogs, GFC, or by email subscription. If you leave a comment and tell me you are a new follower, I will follow you back! As always, all book cover images are linked to GoodReads so if you see a book you want to learn more about, just click away...
Happening This Week:
School has been super busy as we help our Kindergarten students prepare a special Holiday gift for their families. I can't tell you what it is, but let's just say I have been wearing clothes that I won't get upset about if they finish the day with paint and glitter stains. This weekend will be my annual baking marathon, as I prepare treats for my friends and neighbors. If you know me in the "real world", there is pumpkin bread in your future!
New Books:
I found out about these three books from hopping on to other people's book blogs last week! Heart Of Gold was only $0.99, and the other two books were free!!!
Public Library:
I wanted to read The Accidental Alchemist series from the beginning (I recently read the third book to review on NetGalley). And The Ark was another book I heard about from last week's Stacking The Shelves.
Irish Banana Blog Tours:
Thank you Hannah for including me on this Blog tour. This looks like a fun book!
Random House "First In Line Program:
Finally, I got this advanced copy from the Random House "First In Line" Program!!! What a great surprise. I have really enjoyed Jennifer E. Smith's books in the past, and I have high hopes for this one, too.
That's it for this week. What are you reading this week? What books are you excited about? Let me know in the comments.
The Accidental Alchemist sounds quite interesting so I'll see if I can grab that one somewhere cheap. I love the cover for it! I hope you enjoy Heart of Gold and Half Made Girls! I was pleased to find them last week!
