Stacking The Shelves #59 & Sunday Post #22

I am combining two great blog hops:  Stacking The Shelves (a Saturday feature by Team Tynga's Reviews), and Sunday Post (a Sunday feature by the Caffeinated Book Reviewer).  Both of these features give people a chance to post about what books they received and also an opportunity to catch a glimpse of what others are excited about.  I really enjoy see everyone's version of these features! If you enjoy my blog, please consider following me via Bloglovin, Networked Blogs, GFC, or by email subscription.  If you leave a comment and tell me you are a new follower, I will follow you back! As always, all book cover images are linked to GoodReads so if you see a book you want to learn more about, just click away...

Happening This Week:
School has been super busy as we help our Kindergarten students prepare a special Holiday gift for their families.  I can't tell you what it is, but let's just say I have been wearing clothes that I won't get upset about if they finish the day with paint and glitter stains.

This weekend will be my annual baking marathon, as I prepare treats for my friends and neighbors.  If you know me in the "real world", there is pumpkin bread in your future!

I found out about these three books from hopping on to other people's book blogs last week!  Heart Of Gold was only $0.99, and the other two books were free!!!

I wanted to read The Accidental Alchemist series from the beginning (I recently read the third book to review on NetGalley).  And The Ark was another book I heard about from last week's Stacking The Shelves.

 Irish Banana Blog Tours:

Thank you Hannah for including me on this Blog tour.  This looks like a fun book!

Random House "First In Line Program:

Finally, I got this advanced copy from the Random House "First In Line" Program!!! What a great surprise.  I have really enjoyed Jennifer E. Smith's books in the past, and I have high hopes for this one, too.

That's it for this week.  What are you reading this week?  What books are you excited about?  Let me know in the comments.
