I am combining two great blog hops: Stacking The Shelves (a Saturday feature by Team Tynga's Reviews), and Sunday Post (a Sunday feature by the Caffeinated Book Reviewer). Both of these features give people a chance to post about what books they received and also an opportunity to catch a glimpse of what others are excited about. I really enjoy see everyone's version of these features! If you enjoy my blog, please consider following me via Bloglovin, Networked Blogs, GFC, or by email subscription. If you leave a comment and tell me you are a new follower, I will follow you back! As always, all book cover images are linked to GoodReads so if you see a book you want to learn more about, just click away...
On The Blog Last Week:
I made reading a priority last week (finishing four books!!!) and so, I did not do much blogging. I will be doing lots of writing this weekend to get more blog posts up in the coming weeks.
Monday: Bay Area Book Events #37
New Books:

In "Real Life":
My daughter had a violin recital last weekend, and she did great. It was a tough Mozart piece and she has worked very hard on it for a year! It was heartening to see my very shy child actually invite her friends to the performance.
I'm not looking forward to the time change this weekend. Sleep is precious to me, so losing an hour is not a happy prospect. Plus, come Monday, I will be leaving for work in the dark again (perhaps Monday will be another Starbucks day...).
That's it for this week. What books did you get this week? Which ones are you excited to read? Let Me know in the comments.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Julie! Sometimes I put so much pressure on myself to blog, that I need to take an occasional break and just read. I appreciate you coming to my blog so often.

Thank you, Jessica. Thank you also for being so consistent with visiting my blog. I hope I can be a better blogger and return the favor more. Headed for your blog now...
DeleteYou must be so proud of your daughter. I think the violin is such a beautiful instrument. :)

ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I don't like the time change either, I always feel cheated out of an hour of sleep! Hope you enjoy your new book. I used to play the flute when I was a kid and would get super nervous before performances, so glad your daughter's violin recital went well.
ReplyDeleteI ended up with more book than it's humanly possible to read in seven days this week, so here's my stacking the shelves post.
