It's the start of Spring Break for me!!! So I plan on doing a lot of shopping, volunteering at my local animal shelter, and reading. Here are my musts for the week!
Must Read:
I have a huge pile of books to read, but I am most excited about this book! I only wish I could have gotten it autographed at the Penguin Teen Authors tour that was in San Francisco on Friday. But, alas, I had an appointment, so I could not attend.
Must Listen:
My daughter and her friends have been putting together a playlist of cheesy disco songs (don't ask me why), So I told her of a few of my favorites. One of them is I Love The Nightlife, by Alicia Bridges. The song was made famous in the silly 1979 movie, Love At First Bite starring George Hamilton, and Susan Saint James. Watch it if you want to know what your grandparents found hilarious back in the day.

Oh wow... Love at First Bite?!? Talk about a blast from the past, you posting this makes me feel so old Lol Although I was rather young when that movie came out and remember watching it a billion times with my friends. It was such a classic cheese fest, we loved it :) And I can't wait to get my hands on Rebel of the Sands, I think I want to read it purely because of the cover but that's ok! Happy Monday

ReplyDeleteOMG that Taylor Swift video! I did not see that part coming at the end! HAH. Poor T.Swift! I am DYING to start Rebel of the Sands! Ahhh!
