I am combining two great blog hops: Stacking The Shelves (a Saturday feature by Team Tynga's Reviews), and Sunday Post (a Sunday feature by the Caffeinated Book Reviewer). Both of these features give people a chance to post about what books they received and also an opportunity to catch a glimpse of what others are excited about. I really enjoy see everyone's version of these features! If you enjoy my blog, please consider following me via Bloglovin, Networked Blogs, GFC, or by email subscription. If you leave a comment and tell me you are a new follower, I will follow you back!
I have begun to participate in the Amazon affiliate program, so if you click on any of the book covers it will take you to Amazon if you want to buy the book. I will be getting a small fee for each purchase.

This has been a busy week so I haven't gotten much done. Even with reading, it has been slow going. But I am hopeful that this weekend I can finish a few more books!
In Real Life:
Working, holiday shopping, obsessive planning... All in a day's life for me. I really would love to just sit and read, but I also want to be prepared for the holidays, so..via GIPHY
New Books:
Borrowed From Lovely Friends:
I have the best co-workers! Thank for for sharing these books with me. I really enjoyed the other Emily Giffin book that my friend lent me, so I am excited to dive into this next book of hers. Cutting For Stone is a book from another friend. I am really interested in reading it. Thank you, friends.
I hear you on the obsessive planning! Me too, but I think in the long run, it saves time, frustration and last minute panic. Cutting for Stone looks interesting. Enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Trish. I just planned out all our meals for the week, pairing them with the weather and what activities are planned for each day. I'm not obsessive at all, right?
ReplyDeleteOoh nice! Those are new to me ones! I hope you enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteMy STS will be up tomorrow so be sure to stop by then!
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Just being able to sit and read sounds so nice . . . I have heard great things about Cutting For Stone. I started listening to the audio version last year, but I didn't make it to the end. I think it's a book I might enjoy more in print. I hope you enjoy both your new books and your weekend!
ReplyDeleteLook like some good books for you to read. Have a great weekend. - Katie
ReplyDeleteSitting and reading would be wonderful. The end of the year is always so crazy. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
You have great co-workers :) This is a busy time of year, hopefully you'll find some free time to relax. Enjoy your borrowed book.
ReplyDeleteI don't really have any friends near by who I can share books with or borrow them from. Thank heavens I have great libraries!
