I am combining two great blog hops: Stacking The Shelves (a Saturday feature by Team Tynga's Reviews), and Sunday Post (a Sunday feature by the Caffeinated Book Reviewer). Both of these features give people a chance to post about what books they received and also an opportunity to catch a glimpse of what others are excited about. I really enjoy see everyone's version of these features! If you enjoy my blog, please consider following me via Bloglovin, Networked Blogs, GFC, or by email subscription. If you leave a comment and tell me you are a new follower, I will follow you back!
I have begun to participate in the Amazon affiliate program, so if you click on any of the book covers it will take you to Amazon if you want to buy the book. I will be getting a small fee for each purchase.
On The Blog:
Monday: Bay Area Book Events #64
Tuesday: ARC Review: Genuine Fraud by E. Lockhart
Thursday: Audio ARC Review: A Poison Dark and Drowning by Jessica Cluess
I have been busily reading and writing reviews for the blog. I am almost caught up and hope to do a massive amount of writing this weekend to finally be at a point where I am not cutting it so close!
In Real Life:
I was really happy to attend a wonderful event at Books Inc., in Berkeley on Tuesday. The theme that author Anne Korkeakivi stressed was on storytelling. She discussed this with Berkeley musician Rachel Garlin, who treated us to a song she composed. The evening was inspiring and filled with positive energy.
New Books:
Purchased:
Only one new book, and that's because I went to the book signing for Anne Korkeakivi. This looks like a book that's right up my alley. A sweeping family saga that I can't wait to read.
That's it for this week.
Happy Autumn!

I always look forward to your Saturday visits to the blog! Happy Autumn!
DeleteI’m glad you had fun at the event! I’m also happy it’s fall. That’s my favorite season.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Yes, I love the Fall! It was just starting to get cooler this week, and now a heat wave is predicted for the coming days! I really want to start using my crock-pot, but no one will want to eat anything hot in 90 degree weather! Have a wonderful week!
DeleteLove that autumn pic. How cute.
ReplyDeleteCats plus Autumn can't be beat! Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteYou always seem to have so many great events by you. The ones near me are always in the city, and it's so expensive to get there now. I am so happy that I have only one review to write at this time. I played catch up all week. I hope you are able to get ahead this weekend.
ReplyDeleteMy day to dedicate to blogging is about to get cut in half. Oh well. That's the way things work out sometimes. I hope you are able to get where you want to be content wise.
ReplyDeleteThe Books Inc event sounds like a lot of fun. I am glad you had a good time. I hope you have a great week!
I like the sound of Shining Sea! It's a new to me title so I'll be looking forward to your thoughts on it. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHappy autumn to you too :)
ReplyDeleteGlad that you've participated in amazon affiliate. 😁❤️

Very belatedly... thank you for coming, Ardis. It was a pleasure to have you there, and I'm glad you enjoyed the event. Rachel and I enjoyed it too!
