Stacking The Shelves was started by Tynga's Reviews. Please check out this amazing blog!
I read two rather grown up books this week. Both were on the long side, so I didn't get to read my third book for the week, so I'm a little behind on my goal of three books per week. Can I sprint through four books this week? I am not sure, but I will try. I am using a monthly strategy to plan out my reading. The problem with this approach is that it leaves no room for spontaneity. When I suddenly get approved for an ARC or that long awaited books finally arrives at the library, it throws my whole plan out the window! Any suggestions?

Thank you Diane. I saw your Stacking The Shelves and you got a big haul! How many books do you read in a week, anyhow? Have a great week.
DeleteYou have very different tastes than I do, but I hope you love all of your new books.

Hi Grace, I actually read a lot of YA, but for some reason I have a lot of regular fiction going on, too. I like YA because it is so hopeful. Sometimes when I read general fiction, I get so depressed! So I try for a variety of books. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI've been wanting to read My Name is Lucy Barton. Enjoy your books! Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
ReplyDeleteI saw My Name is Lucy Barton on NetGalley and gave it a shot. I like historical fiction, so it should be fun.
DeleteThank you! I have started Crossing to Safety and it is really well written. I look forward to the day when I have completely read and reviewed all the ARCs I have. Ha! A few months ago, I was getting zero replies to my ARC requests. I certainly don't have loads of them, but I feel enough pressure now, to prioritize their reading. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteWow! Three books a week is ambitious! I'm very impressed! Happy reading and have an awesome Sunday! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about The Sisters of Versailles. I've seen this book on several blogs. Looks very interesting. Hope you enjoy all of your new reads. :)

I loved I'll Give You the Sun! It was such a compelling story. Hope you like it. I didn't really care for The Kitchen House, though. It had promise, but rubbed me the wrong way for so many reasons. Can't wait to see what you thought about it.
