Monday Musts #5

Monday Musts is a weekly feature hosted by Jessica @ Lovin' Los Libros.  Got to her blog for a complete list of all the participating people.  Make your own Monday Musts and register your blog on the master list on Jessica's blog.

Happy Monday everyone!  What a wonderful weekend of blogging and reading.  I set out to hop and comment on to every one of the 101 blogs on Tynga's Stacking The Shelves meme.  And I did it!  It took me two days, but I was able to visit each and every blog  on the list.  What I love about blog hops is that I get a chance to see the vast variety of blogs, books, and styles in the Blogesphere.  I find looking at how others do things can inspire me to try new things.  Here are my Musts for Monday:

Must Read:

This book was lent to me by my co-worker and it is a very special book about the "shadow war" during WWII.  It was the war that no one talked about; the war where those who stayed home in Europe had to fight hard to survive in occupied countries.  I was so very impressed by this book.  It kept me up late into the night because I could not stop thinking about it.  What will happen to Vianne?  Will this character be caught by the Nazis?  I couldn't sleep, so I read  and read as long as my eyes allowed.

Must Listen:

Burning House by Cam.  I am not normally a country music fan, but this is such a beautiful song (and it fits my mood right now after reading The Love That Split The World).

 Must See:

While I am not a football fan and did not watch the big game, I do enjoy a fun commercial.  There is a website called Super Bowl Commercials which shows all the best, and worst of the splashy ads that companies hope will click with the public.   I really loves the Alec Baldwin ad for Amazon Echo.

What are your Monday Musts?  Let me know what your excited to read, listen to, and see this week in the comments.

    1. I really loved The Nightingale! Historical Fiction is one of my favorite genres and I am always interested in WWII France, so this book had me interested from the get go. Thanks for stopping by.

    1. That song is so haunting and the video is wonderful, too (although I thought it was strange for her to smile so much). Have a great week.
